Creating a Community Initiative takes just a few minutes and is very straightforward. Here’s a quick walkthrough.

Building your Initiative

Step 1: Navigate to Initiatives

In your profile, click the "Community Initiatives" tab in the navigation menu, then click "Create New Initiative"

Step 2: Add Initiative details

Fill in the following fields:

  • Title - Name of your event, program, or grouping
  • Dates - Start and end dates (optional)
  • Location - Address where the event/program takes place (optional)
  • Description - Details about what's happening
  • Photos - Upload images to make your Initiative visually engaging
    • Cover Photo: Your initiative has a cover photo that you will crop in the editor so it fits perfectly
      • For best results: Use a 1920 × 1080 image. At minimum, we recommend 1200 × 400 to ensure it displays properly within the cover frame.
  • Photo Gallery: Additional pictures can help paint an exciting picture for participants. There is no need to resize these as the gallery will accommodate all dimension photos.
  • Documents - Attach PDFs, flyers, or forms for participants to download (optional)

Step 3: Link related campaigns

  • Click "Add Campaign" to connect existing campaigns to your Initiative.
  • Click “Remove Campaign” to remove any campaigns you do not want linked to your Initiative.
  • Reorder Campaigns by dragging and dropping them in the list.

Step 4: Set visibility

Choose who can see your Initiative:

  • Public - Visible to everyone
    • Your initiative must be public in order for it to be shared.
  • Private - Only accessible to your team.
    • There are no Private Share Links for Initiatives
  • Archived - Hidden from public view

Step 5: Save and share

Click "Save" and your Initiative is live! Use the share module to promote it via link, social media, QR code, or website embed.
