Since Items within a Points of Interest campaign cannot be claimed, only viewed, items added to these campaigns should only be added as a Single Quantity. Follow the below steps to add Single Quantity Items to your pre-existing Points of Interest campaigns.
1. Click Add Item > Single Quantity Item
2. Input Item Details
- Item Name - Input the name of the Point of Interest (e.g. Sculpture Name, Landmark Name, Mural Name, etc.)
- Item Type - Select the category that best describes the item, helping visitors quickly understand what the item is
- Item Status - Choose Donated to ensure the item cannot be claimed by any visitors, only viewed
- Item Description - Provide a quick snippet of the Item. The more detailed story should be included in the Digital Story that visitors will view when they scan the QR code on the item (if applicable).
- Post Item - Select Public to ensure the item is visible. If you want to limit visibility to SeeMyLegacy users only, choose Private instead.
4. Location Field
Enter the name and address of the location so others can find it easily
5. Upload High-Quality Photos > Hit Add
Upload clear photos of the item to help visitors easily identify it in person and make the campaign more visually engaging and impactful.
