With SeeMyLegacy, you can manually add donations that were processed outside the platform. This ensures that every donation is recognized, keeping your campaign complete and accurate. Follow the below steps to add a donated item.
If you'd like to bulk import GIS information for items (benches, tress, etc.), please reach out to your Community Support rep or email support@seemylegacy.com.
1. Click Campaigns

2. Choose Campaign
3. Click Add Item > Single Quantity Item
4. Add Item Details
- Name Item (Ex. Memorial Bench Dedication - John Doe)
- Choose the Items Type (select type that best describes item)
- Choose Donated for Items Status
- Include Item Description to thank donor
- Post item as Public
5. Enter Location Details
The location can be the precise location the item is located at by inputting the longitude and latitude data.
6. Add High-Quality Photos of the Item and/or person Item is being dedicated to
7. Enter Donation Information
If your donation includes a QR plaque, follow the steps in this article to learn how to attach an item to a specific QR plaque.
8. Select Add

Manually created donated items will not appear in the Activity Log.
