High-quality visuals can make a big impact on the success of your campaigns on SeeMyLegacy. Whether you're showcasing sponsorship opportunities, promoting activities, or memorial programs, the right images help grab attention, inspire action, and bring your campaign to life.
Below are recommended image ratios, scanning tips, and best practices.
Campaign Page Images (Main / Header Photo)
Recommended aspect ratio: 16:9 (widescreen)
Tips:
- Use a compelling, high-quality photo that represents the heart of your campaign.
- Group shots, community moments, or action photos from past events work especially well.
- Keep important faces, logos, and text toward the center; edges may crop on some devices.
- Upload a sharp, well-lit image (higher resolution looks better when scaled down).
Where to update: Open the campaign → Edit Campaign → Photos & Documents tab.

Item / Option Images
These are the photos on individual ticket options, sponsorship tiers, donation items, registration options, and similar choices within a campaign.
Recommended aspect ratio: 1:1 (square)
Tips:
- Keep each item image visually distinct so supporters can tell options apart at a glance.
- A mix of visuals — past event photos, products (like memorial benches or trees), or activities — keeps the campaign engaging.
- Center the subject so nothing important is cut off in the square crop.
Where to update: Open the specific ticket/option → Edit → scroll to the photo uploader.

Best Practices for Using Images
Leverage past event photos: Authentic photos from previous events help donors and sponsors connect emotionally and envision the impact of their support.
Use high-resolution images: Blurry or pixelated images can reduce trust and interest.
