1. New Participant is Added to the Activity Log
Every new sponsor or donor is automatically recorded in your Campaign’s Activity Log.
Each Activity Record includes:

Sponsor or Donor Details
- Basic contact information: name, email, phone number, organization name
- Responses and file uploads from form submissions
- Payment information (if “Accept Online Payment” was enabled)

System-generated Documents
- Summary Document is auto-generated by SeeMyLegacy and summarizes the new donation or sponsorship
- Tax Receipt Document is auto-generated by SeeMyLegacy and sent to your participants (if “Generate Tax Receipts” was enabled)
The Activity Log gives your team one central place to view and manage all participant information tied to the Campaign, and can be exported to Excel or CSV format at any time.

2. SeeMyLegacy Users Receive an Email Notification with a Summary Document
When a sponsorship or donation is submitted, notification contacts assigned to the Campaign will automatically receive an email notification. This email includes a summary document with the new donation or sponsorship details.
- When donation or sponsorship includes payment: You will receive an email with a summary document showing the participant’s details and payment confirmation.

- When donation or sponsorship does not include payment: You will receive an email with a summary document showing the participant’s details, without any payment information.

3. Sponsor or Donor Receives Confirmation Email
Participants automatically receive a confirmation email after completing donation or sponsorship. This email includes the core details of their donation or sponsorship and, if applicable, payment confirmation.

When donation or sponsorship includes payment: The confirmation email will show a payment confirmation message along with the participant’s details.
- If the Campaign has the “Generate Tax Receipts” setting enabled, the participant will also receive their Donation Acknowledgement Letter (tax receipt) as an attachment.

- When donation or sponsorship does not include payment: The confirmation email will show a submission confirmation email and the participant’s details.
