Ticket Holder Emails + Digital Tickets

When someone buys a ticket or reserves a free spot, SeeMyLegacy takes care of the communication automatically — for you and your ticket holders. Here's exactly what gets sent and when.

What You Receive

New Ticket Purchase Notification

Every time a ticket is purchased or a free ticket is reserved, your notification contacts receive an email alert with the buyer's details — name, email, phone number, ticket type, quantity, and total amount paid. No need to constantly check your activity log — the update comes straight to your inbox.

What Your Ticket Holders Receive

Confirmation Email with QR Tickets + Receipt

Right after checkout, ticket buyers receive a confirmation email that includes:

Attachments

  • Their digital QR Ticket PDF — one ticket per page, ready to show at the door
  • A receipt of their payment or free reservation

Email Content

  • Full event details: event name, date, time, and location
  • A custom note from your community (you set this — view Campaign Create/Edit Article)
  • Ticket instructions reminding them to save the PDF before the event

If you enabled tax receipts for your ticketed charitable event, the tax receipt will also be attached to this confirmation email automatically.

💡 A charge from SeeMyLegacy will appear on the buyer's card/bank statement.

Digital QR Ticket PDF

Attached to the confirmation email is a Ticket PDF with one ticket per page. Each ticket includes the event name, ticket type, date, time, location, and a unique QR code for check-in. Ticket holders should save this PDF before the event.

💡 Community users can always access a copy of any guest's digital ticket PDF directly from the Activity Log — just open the record and find it under Documents.

24-Hour Reminder Email

The day before your event, ticket holders automatically receive a reminder email with their event details. It's a helpful nudge that reduces no-shows and last-minute questions.

Adding a Custom Note to Ticket Holder Emails

Want to remind guests to arrive early? Share parking details? Point them to a registration table? You can add a personalized note from your community that gets included in every ticket holder's confirmation email. Look for the Note From Your Community field when setting up or editing your campaign.
